![]() If you’re scouring the rooftops at night, seek out Dark Zones. You can find plenty of loot to plunder in the remnants of the military vehicles. In the day, look for the Military Convoy locations found on the city streets. If you need new weapons in a hurry – and don’t want to head to a vendor to stock up – it’s best to track down certain side activities. Much like their stats, the type of weapon you’ll find in all these locations is randomized, so you won’t be able to return to the same spot to re-equip a weapon if you sell, drop or break it. Certain story or side quest scenarios will also scatter weapons throughout the environment. Weapons can be found in containers, GRE military trailers, shops, as rewards for story missions and on corpses. If you’re looking to grab yourself some new weapons, you won’t have to look far. Finally, while the main story revs up too slowly, the DLC’s finale came with a jaw-dropping twist I honestly did not see coming - and more than made up for the base game’s lackluster ending.The only weapons you’ll acquire with set stats are awarded to you after completing missions. Other quests, like diving through a claustrophobic underwater cave or going on a treasure hunt for antique revolvers, not only showcase Dying Light’s diverse missions, but give you ample opportunities to flex your free-running parkour skills in between driving the countryside, recalling what made Dying Light such a memorable zombie game in the first place.
